Submitted By Melissa Wolk on Tuesday, June 12, 2018
The Honour Award is a prestigious award presented to a person who has made an outstanding voluntary contribution to minor hockey for a considerable period of time. The Honour Award recognizes a volunteer at the local level and any OMHA minor hockey organization may nominate a person for this award.

Huge congratulations to a well deserved winner. Helen helped shape our hockey organization and her dedication and volunteer spirit has touched thousands of Oakville Rangers. Congratulations and thank you Helen Ford.

Helen Ford
of Oakville Minor Hockey was recognized as this year’s recipient. She has been a part of Oakville Minor Hockey for over 40 years and has been called the backbone of the organization. She's served multiple roles in the community and is a constant volunteer no matter how big or small the job may be. Helen is a positive person who wants to make a lasting impression and a great experience for the players.
