In support of the Presidents Fund - Helping Everyone Afford Hockey

JOIN THE 1V1 SUMMER VIDEO CHALLENGE

SUPPORT THE PRESIDENT'S FUND

The Oakville Rangers Hockey Club President's Fund is committed to ensuring no Oakville family is prevented from participating in hockey due to financial circumstances. The President's Fund was established to provide financial assistance to local families of both House League and Rep players who may need help overcoming any financial barriers.

To support this initiative we are launching the first 1v1 Summer Video Challenge!

Players will be combining their creativity and hockey skills and submitting their talents via video. When you register you will be given an option to donate to the President's Fund where 100% of the proceeds are directed at helping those less fortunate play the game we love so much, right here in Oakville.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Each division will have their own page for participants to upload their video and view the video gallery. Participants will be competing against others their own age in a series of exciting challenges.

On the Monday of each week, starting July 27th, a hockey challenge will be provided via the Oakville Rangers Facebook and Instagram feed. Each participant will then have until Saturday night at 9pm of the same week to upload their submission. The most votes wins - so promote your video in your own social media accounts! Voting will be live until Sunday at 9pm each week. Click here for the full rules

Each participant is allowed 1 video upload per weekly competition so make it count! Multiple videos by the same participant during the same week will be deleted. Be creative! Have some fun!

MORE THAN JUST BRAGGING RIGHTS

Thanks to our generous sponsor BarDown we have some special prizes throughout the event. At the end of 4 weeks there will be a reigning championship trophy awarded to the player with the most votes over the 4 weeks - one winner per division!

DIVISIONS

Participants will register and compete in their respective divisions based on birth year. The Divisions are being divided as follows:

Players born in 2012 or 2013: U9 (Novice)

Players born in 2010 or 2011: U11 (Atom)
