The Oakville Rangers Hockey Club (ORHC) is pleased and excited to announce Paul MacLean as the new U18 AAA coach for the 2024-2025 season. Rob Ricci is leaving the club and moving on to be the new Head Coach for the Oakville Blades. We thank Rob for his time and dedication to the U18 AAA program and wish him the best of luck in the future.

Paul MacLean was born in Oakville Ontario. He brings 30 plus years of experience as a player, and a coach. Paul played Junior Hockey with the Brockville Braves, then played for the Vernon Lakers in BC, where they won the Centennial Cup in 1990.
Paul has coached Junior Hockey for the Dryden Ice Dogs, SIJHL and Waywayseecappo Wolverines in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League. In recent years, he has been a Head Coach and Assistant Coach in the FPHL, a professional hockey league in the USA. During the season of 2022 with the Watertown Wolves, the team won the championship, Commissioners Cup.
Paul played for the Johnstown Chiefs and Toledo storm in the ECHL, and the Thunder Bay Senators in the Colonial Professional Hockey League.
Paul has run his own development camp throughout the years, providing knowledge and expertise in on-ice development training for a wide range of age groups.
Most recently, Paul was the Head Coach Mentor for the Mid Cities Jr. Stars in Dallas,Texas.
