Submitted By Cassy Goulart on Thursday, November 21, 2019
The Oakville Blizzard Bantam Red’s went a perfect 5-0 on the weekend to win the North London Classic Tournament.  In round robin, the Blizzard’s defeated the Waterloo Wild Wolves 8-1 , the London Bandits 1-0, and Lambeth 3-0.  In the semi-finals, the Blizzard knocked off the Oak Ridges Kings 3-2 in a tense 5 round shoot out.  In the Championship, the Blizzard pulled off the perfect weekend with another 1-0 win over the London Bandits.

A special nod goes to the Blizzard goaltender, Daniel Kaluzny.  Daniel (aided by a strong defensive effort by the entire team) recorded 3 shut outs, and allowed only 3 goals against, over the 5 games.

As a coaching staff, we are very proud of how our players have come together as a team so early in the season.
