Returning Player Registration

You have reached this page because you indicated that the Player you are registering played for the Oakville Rangers Hockey Club last season. If you did not play for the Oakville Rangers last season please click here. If your Division is full, please click here to be added to the Wait List.

As a returning player, your registration is completed via the Hockey Canada Registration System:

Listed below are step-by-step instructions that will walk you through the registration process.

Registration Payment is only accepted online using Visa, Visa Debit, or MasterCard

Step One: Login to the Hockey Canada Registration site
Go to and log in to your Hockey Canada Registration account. Please note where it says Minor Oaks at the top of the page. If you do not see this, or if you see the name of a different Hockey Association, you are on the wrong site! You must use the link above (or click here) to access the Oakville Rangers Registration Site. This is also the same site where you will come to get your Tax Receipt at the end of the season. If you are registering multiple Participants you will be able to do all of them at once.

If you have forgotten your password, use the Forgot Your Password link just below the login. If you have forgotten the email address you used to register, please contact the ORHC Office for assistance.

Registration Step One

Step Two: Click on Register a Participant
Click on Register a Participant.

At the top of the screen you also have options where you can review your Order History and manage your account, such as updating your email address and/or password. You can also view your cart from this screen, which allows you to add multiple Participant Registrations to the same checkout, if you are registering multiple players at once.

Step Three: Select the Participant
If you have registered this Participant before you can click on Register next to their name to continue. If your Participant has not been registered before you will need to fill in their First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth, Gender, and Language at the bottom of the screen to select the correct Participant – enter the information, click Register, then select your Participant from the Search Results.

Step Four: Select Participants and your Division
Select the Participants option then click Next, then select the Division you are registering for and click Next again.

Step Five: Select Your Package
Select the Package you are registering the Participant for then click on Next. Typically, there will be a Player option and a Goalie option for House League as well as a Player and Goalie option for Rep. Only select Rep if you played on a Rep team last season, or if you have been specifically directed to do so by a Rep Coach, Executive, or the ORHC Staff.

Registration Step Five

Step Six: Complete the Required Information
Fill in all the required information then click on Next. You must provide ALL of the following information before the system will allow you to proceed to the next screen:

  • Mailing Address
  • Primary Contact Name and Contact Information
  • Emergency Contact Information

Step Seven: Complete the Acknowledgements
There are several Waivers and Acknowledgements that must be completed as part of the Registration. Some are optional, such as the OMHA’s Insider e-Newsletter, and some are mandatory, such as the Rowan’s Law Acknowledgement. Read through each one and click the checkbox confirming your acknowledgement/acceptance then click on Next to proceed.

Step Eight: Review Your Selections
Review your selections then click on Review to continue. Do not worry that the full invoice amount is showing on this screen. The Payment Schedule is applied in a later step.

Step Nine: Review Your Registration
Review your Registration carefully to ensure the information you have entered is accurate. If you need to make any corrections use the Back button at the bottom of the screen to return to the previous screens in this process. Once you are satisfied the information you have entered and selected is accurate you have two options. If you are registering more than one participant click Add to Cart. This will place this participant in to your cart and return you to the home screen – you can then repeat steps One though Nine for your next participant. If you have no additional Participants and you are ready to complete your Registration, click on Checkout.

Step Ten: Confirm Your Cart
Confirm that your shopping cart has all of the Participants that you want to register, then click on Checkout to continue. On the next screen, select Credit Card and click Next.

Note that payment is only accepted by Visa, Visa Debit, and Mastercard

Registration Step Ten

Step Eleven: Select Your Payment Option
Select whether you would like to take advantage of the Payment Schedule or if you would prefer to pay the full invoice now then click on Next to continue. When you click Next you will be prompted with a warning that you are being redirected to a Third-Party Payment Processor – click Ok. Be patient – the page sometimes takes a minute to load.

Registration Step Eleven

Step Twelve: Complete Payment
Fill in your payment details then click Submit at the bottom of the screen. Once again, be patient! The site does at times take a minute or two to process the request. You will be returned to the Registration screen when it is done, and your registration is complete.
