This page provides general information on the Rangers Mentorship program for the 2022/23 season.


The Oakville Rangers are proud to announce the Jr. Rangers Mentorship Program. This is a brand new leadership program for the 2022/23 season for all U15, U16 and U18 Rep or House League players looking to gain leadership skills and volunteer hours.


What is the Program?

Successful applicants will assist with the U7, U8 and U9 Jr. Rangers Programs for the 2022/23 season (20 weeks). The commitment will be at minimum, 4 hours of volunteering bi-weekly (opportunities to pick-up more hours will be available). Duties for this program include assisting with Jr. Rangers team practices, organizing game days for the Jr. Rangers Program (setting up bumpers, boards, music, managing the clock, etc.).

  • Volunteer Hours to meet Ontario High School Requirements
  • Eligibility to win the Academic Scholarship for this Program (1 Winner)

Application Process

Interested applicants will apply for this volunteer position. We ask that applicants submit a one (1) page document outlining their hockey experience and why they want to participate in this program. A Rangers staff member or Executive member will reach out to all applicants once the application period is closed.
