The Phantoms have picked up where they were prior to the Christmas break. They retained the information they learned regarding their positioning, the break out play, and their passing and shooting.
The Phantoms were rewarded today by successfully using the break out play to create scoring chances. They created at least six break-a-ways off the break out play today. The more they practice, the more efficient they will make it, and the more chances they will create from it.
Their passes are becoming more precise and crisp. This is something they have been working on extremely hard at practice and it's beginning to pay off. The coaches were extremely happy with the Phantoms efforts around the net this morning as they created numerous scoring chances. The opposition goal tender made some fantastic saves to keep the score from getting out of control.
Congratulations to Evan who was welcomed into the double digit scoring club today with his assist. Well done Evan.
It would be great if the Phantoms can put together another effort like todays for the last game of a rare back-to-back weekend set. GO PHANTOMS!!
