The Oakville Rangers Minor Bantam AE Team win Silver at the 2014 Ace Bailey Invitational Tournament in Stoney Creek.

The team started slow losing a hard fought 2 - 0 decision to fellow tri-county divisional opponent - Flamborough Sabres.  Rebounding nicely in game 2 with their backs against the wall, the Rangers fought hard in an exciting game 2 to beat the Pickering Panthers 4 - 3.

The Rangers started Saturday morning in a knock out crossover game, playing hard they prevailed over the Hamilton Huskies in a close game 2 - 1.

The team continued to work hard and appeared to hit their stride in the afternoon. The Rangers faced the host Stoney Creek Warriors in the semi-final and in a emotional and eventful game - the Rangers prevailed 3 - 2 to book their ticket in the tournament final.

In the Championship Game, the Rangers ran into a formidable opponent and fell 4 to 1 to the Cambridge Hawks.

The Rangers are coached by Greg Harris, Rob Zamuner and Mark Bevington alogn with our awesome trainer Miles Kealey and manager for the tournament Julie Caporal.

Awesome Job Rangers - keep up the effort and improvement - Lake Placid is less than 3 weeks away.
