Improvement Seen!
Although the result was similar, there was improvement seen in the areas the Wolverines have been working on.
The team has been working on taking harder shots, and looking at where they are shooting or passing the puck. There was visible improvement in those areas of their game today. Although the score was 4-1 it could have easily been 3-2 or 3-3 and even though the Wolverines shot count was similar to their norm, the Wolverines had many more scoring chances than in previous games including a post. A few bounces the Wolverines way and they would have been playing a different game.
Everything cannot be fixed at once but the priorities the team is currently focusing on at this point in time are improving, and will continue to be the focus. The Wolverines are not going to physically overpower teams due to thier size, but with the improvements in their puck handling skills, their team speed, and positioning the pendulum will begin to swing.
