Oakville Vipers Victorious in Neil Barker
The Oakville Rangers Vipers did Oakville proud over the past weekend, winning the Neil Barker Tournament in London.
The Tyke Red team started the tournament strong with a 8-2 win over North London 21.The second game in round robin play was a win over the London Bandits 4-2. The teams only loss was in the third game, with the North London '31' squeezing by with a score of 4-3.
The Vipers came on strong in the semi's, edging North London '31' 3-2 to meet Waterloo in the Championship game. Once more the Vipers came on strong, winning with a 3-1 score to become Champions of the Neil Barker Minor Novice Division.
The team consists of Marcelo, Matthew, Lincoln, Cole, Marcus, Edison,Wyatt, Cade, Benjamin, Jayden, Weston, Xander, Leo, Chris, Christian and Luca.
Head Coach is Brad Hamilton, Assistant Coach is Mathew Murdock, and Trainer Steve Medcalf rounds out the bench.
