The Oakville Rangers Novice AE team started the season off the by taking gold at the Markham Waxers Early Bird September Showdown. The Rangers won 4 out of 5 games to become the Tournament Champions.
After a slow start with a hard-fought loss on Friday, this happy band of determined 7 and 8 years old showed up on Saturday with one goal in mind, to crush the competition and win the lot. And that’s exactly what they did, winning the next four games straight!! They played with such heart, gave 100% effort and attacked every game with an incredible will to win.
