Following the huge success of the 2018, 2019, and 2020 event (which saw 70 U8 (formerly Tyke) and U7 (formerly IP) teams hit the ice); the Oakville Rangers Hockey Club is excited to announce the return of Shrink the Rink 2023!
The 2023 event will be taking place this Family Day Weekend, February 18th and 19th, 2023 at Sixteen Mile Sports Complex in Oakville.
STR 2023 event will feature U8 divisions at both the House league and Select divisions as well as a U7 division for various skill levels.
Open to all House League U7 and U8 teams as well as U8 Select teams (Rep Calibre) this two day event will feature 3 on-ice games in addition to the Mini Stick zone and interactive concourse.
Team entry fee is $950.

All PLAYERS WILL RECEIVE A SWAG BAG INCLUDING A MINI STICK
GAME FORMAT:
HALF ICE, 4 ON 4 WITH A GOALIE
TEAMS OF 18 WILL BE SPLIT INTO 2 X 9 PLAYER TEAMS
44 MINUTE GAMES (22 MIN THEN SWITCH OPPONENT, AB/BA THEN AA/BB)
TEAMS FROM THE OWHA, ALLIANCE, GTHL, AND NOHA ARE WELCOME!
*TEAMS CAN REGISTER IN 1 OF 3 SKILL LEVELS AND WILL BE PAIRED ACCORDINGLY WHEREVER POSSIBLE
