The tournament is just 5 sleeps away!
Below, please find important tournament information that you and your team need
to know (please forward to your team members/coaches/managers) + some time sensitive
actions you may need to take. Read on…
Thanks to you, the tournament is oversold,
and we are now the largest tournament in Canada. This year, there are 335
teams, playing 777 games at 19 arenas on 34 ice pads in 54 hours. Over 500
teams registered! Unfortunately, we could not accommodate them all – maybe next
year. Thanks for your support. Over 200 volunteers, tons of referees and timekeepers,
dozens of arena staff + the Rangers’ amazing staff are working hard to make
sure that this is the best tourney you attend this year. Being the biggest is just a function of a fortuitous location, numerous great nearby facilities and math; providing the best value and best tournament experience takes dedication and
commitment from a lot of people. We plan to deliver!
TOURNAMENT
SCHEDULE
As I hope all of you know, the
tournament schedule has been posted since December 15th. https://oakvillerangers.ca/Tournaments/6607/Schedule/
Unfortunately, some changes needed to be made due to a few teams dropping out
who qualified for an International Silver Stick over the holidays. Obviously, the
chance to play for a Silver Stick is too good to pass up but it has an
incredible impact on the schedule. Our apologies if you are an affected team.
If you haven’t checked your schedule in the last week, please do so ASAP.
