U8 (2013) Minor Novice Enhanced Development Program
Submitted By Melissa Wolk on Friday, September 4, 2020
The ORHC will be offering the U8 Enhanced Development Program for the 2013 age group.  This program is aimed at players who want to receive advanced level training and prepare for future opportunities at the rep team level.

It is important to note that participation in this program does NOT signify that a player has a spot on any future rep team.   It is first and foremost an opportunity to receive advanced level skill development. Once (if) rep travel hockey is allowed, players for the U8 One and Two teams will be selected through a tryout process.

The U8 Enhanced Development Program will be overseen by P3 Hockey Academy and will incorporate a 10-week seasonal curriculum.  Players will be on the ice once a week for a full ice practice and once a week for scrimmage play. All team practices will have an organized practice plan administered by professional instructors beginning in October for the duration of the program.  It is expected that goalies selected into the program will play more than one scrimmage per week.

The cost for this program will be $650.   100 spots have been allocated towards this program.  In the event that more than 100 applications are received, preference for selection into the program will be given to those players who played in the ORHC Pre-Tyke division in the 2019-2020 season.   Further selection will then be based on feedback and assessment from ORHC coaches familiar with the age group in addition to the ORHC Development team and their advisors.

Those interested in being a part of the U8 Enhanced Development Program are asked to fill out an APPLICATION FORM
