The Oakville Rangers Hockey Club (ORHC) is
pleased and excited to announce the U13 AAA coaching staff for the
2022-2023 season.
Steve Pinizzotto – Head Coach: Under - 13 (U13)

Steve grew up playing hockey his whole life. He got his start in the MTHL (now the GTHL), before moving on to the Oakville Rangers Organization. He then played Junior for the Oakville Blades. He spent 4 seasons with the Blades, serving as Co-Captain in his final season. Steve then took the NCAA route and joined the RIT Tigers (Rochester Institute of Technology), becoming the 1st player in school history to sign an NHL contract. During his 13 year professional career, Steve has garnered 5 Championships-- 2x AHL Calder Cup Champion with the Hershey Bears, and 3x DEL Champion with Redbull Munich. In addition to his championship titles, Steve played at the top level in the National Hockey League for the Vancouver Canucks and Edmonton Oilers. While playing with the Oilers, Steve is one of very few players to have ever achieved a Gordie Howe Hattrick (goal, assist, fight in one game). He continued in his hockey profession over the last few years, as co-owner and trainer of the P3 Hockey Academy, offering hockey camps and training to kids of all ages. In addition, Steve and his brother Jason have coached the GTHL AA Mississauga Blackhawks for the last 3 seasons.
Steve is entering his 4th season coaching as a strong leader with great passion for the game. He loves communicating with his players and offering a more experienced approach. He is thrilled to be able to participate in this new opportunity.
David Broll – Associate Head Coach: Under – 13 (U13)

David Broll is an Oakville firefighter and just retired from 9 years of professional ice hockey. He played 4 years in the OHL and won an U18 gold for Team Canada. During his OHL career David was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs, then signed and played 5 games in the NHL. He also played professionally in the AHL, ECHL and EIHL. David, who has instructed youth hockey for the past few years with P3 Hockey Academy, currently lives in Burlington, Ontario and is looking forward to coaching the U13 AAA team for the 2022-2023 season.
