U12 AAA - 2 Coach Announcement
The Oakville Rangers Hockey Club (ORHC) is Pleased to Announce a 2nd U12 AAA Team and Head Coach for the 2022-2023 Season!

After extensive evaluation and due diligence, the ORHC submitted a request to have a 2nd U12 AAA team for the 2022-2023 season.  The application for another AAA team and approval by the OHF, OMHA and SCTA League is reflective of both the player and coaching depth at the 2011 birthyear age group.

In addition to having a top-ranked U11 AAA team in 2021-22, the U11 AA Red team went 42-1 during the 2021-22 season, won the Octoberfest Tournament, Tri-County Championships, and then went on to win the OMHA Gold Medal.

The approval is for the 2022-2023 season and will be reviewed on season-by-season basis moving forward. The existing U112 AAA team, coached by Patrick O'Sullivan, will be referred to as AAA-1 and this additional team will be referred to as AAA-2.

During the September tryouts players will be first selected for the AAA-1 team followed by the AAA-2 team.

With this announcement we are excited to announce PJ Yedon as Head Coach for the AAA-2 team.

After a successful college hockey career, PJ returned to Toronto and began his coaching journey as Head Coach of the North York Rangers in the Ontario Junior Hockey League.  During his 4-year tenure as Head Coach he developed and graduated 13 NCAA Scholarship athletes, 7 OHL athletes, and 12 CIAU athletes.  He went on to coach at York University for 2 seasons as well as 4 years as a Scout with the OHL Kitchener Rangers.

PJ has spent the last 3 seasons as a Head Coach in the Oakville Rangers organization.   Most recently, in 2021-2022 his U11 AA team went 42-1 winning the Tri County Championship as well as the OMHA Championship.

PJ is a player centered coach and truly has the best interest of his players at the core of his development philosophy.

Congratulations to PJ on his selection as Head Coach of the Oakville Rangers Under-12 (U12) AAA-2 team for the 2022-23 season.
