Description
THIS *COACH -
DEVELOPMENT 1 CLINIC WILL BE DELIVERED OVER THREE SESSIONS. TWO VIRTUAL
SESSIONS AND A ONE DAY IN-PERSON CLINIC.
ATTENDANCE AND COMPLETION OF ALL THREE SESSION
IS MANDATORY IN ORDER TO RECEIVE THE QUALIFICATION.
CLINIC DELIVERY
IS AS FOLLOWS:
1) Make Ethical
Decisions Training - Live Online session via Zoom
This
Live Online Make Ethical Decisions clinic will be held on THURSDAY JUNE 22, 2023 prior
to your In-Person *Coach - Development 1 clinic. Attendance is mandatory if you
do not already have the Make Ethical Decisions qualification.
2) In-Person
Development 1 Clinic
This one day In-person *Coach - Development 1 clinic will be held
on SUNDAY
JUNE 25, 2023, OAKVILLE - SIXTEEN MILE SPORTS COMPLEX. 100% attendance is
required in order to receive the Qualification.
3) Virtual
On-Demand Learning Module
You will have access to this module upon registration.
It is recommended this module be completed BEFORE participation
in the in-person *Coach - Development 1 clinic and MUST BE COMPLETED in
order to receive your NCCP *Coach - Development 1 Trained qualification.
Please note that
registration closes the Tuesday night prior to the clinic date.
The Specialty Skills - *HU - ONLINE Checking
course MUST be completed before Signing Up for This *Coach – Development 1
clinic. Failure to complete the *HU - ONLINE Checking course prior will NOT
allow you to register for this *Coach – Development 1 clinic.
Note: If you have
previously completed the *HU – ONLINE Checking course you are not required to
take it again. Coaches will receive the *Coach – Development 1 digital
Reference Material in their Confirmation email.
Please bring Pen
and Paper for the In-class session.
Skates, CSA
Approved Helmet, Gloves, Stick and Rink Suit are required for On-ice session.
Once the In-Person clinic and Online -
Recorded/On-Demand component are completed you will receive your Development 1
– Trained qualification. It may take 72 hours for the qualification to
show on your HCR profile.
A $25 Admin Fee may be charged
for any cancellation or change of clinic date.
Please note that in order to be on an Approved
Roster as a Head Coach you must be 19 years of age or older.
