Congratulations to the Oakville Rangers U14 BB Blue team, who won the U14
division at the John McDonald Memorial Hockey Tournament hosted in St
Catherine’s this weekend!
They went undefeated in the 4 game series, posting 2-0-1 result during the
round robin, and held the top place in points standing. All of their games had
low goals scored against them, in thanks to their outstanding goal tenders.
Sunday’s championship game against the highly skilled Stratford Warriors was an
especially hard fought battle, finally winning 2-1 during a nail biting
overtime period.
Congratulations players; your tenacity and teamwork paid off! Your coaches and
families look forward to a very exciting 2023/24 season.
