This program is the introductory level of hockey for 4-year old hockey enthusiasts. Players are introduced to skating and fundamental hockey skills in a fun and engaging way. |
Future Prospects Program |
This program is the introductory level of hockey for "late" starters age 5 to 8 years old. Development focuses on skating and fundamental hockey skills in a fun and engaging way. |
Accelerate Program |
This program is the introductory level of hockey for older "late" starters age 9 to 14 years old. Development focuses on skating and fundamental hockey skills. Players will be introduced to gameplay later on in the season. |

Recreational Hockey Streams |
U7 Jr. Rangers Program |
This program is the intermediate level of hockey for 5 and 6 year olds. Gameplay is introduced to players via cross-ice scrimmages. Development focuses on skating and fundamentals of hockey. |
U8 Jr. Rangers Program |
This program is the intermediate level of hockey for 7 year olds. Gameplay transitions to half-ice games. Development continues to focus on skating and the fundamentals of hockey. |
U9 Jr. Rangers Program |
This program is the intermediate level of hockey for 8 year olds. Gameplay continues with half-ice and players are introduced to full-ice gameplay later in the season. Development continues to focus on skating and the fundamentals of hockey, as well as an introduction to hockey rules (offsides, penalties, icings, etc.). |
House League |
House League is the recreational level of play. From U10 to U15, teams have 1 practice and 1 game per week. At U16 and U18, teams play 3 games bi-weekly with no practices. At U21, teams play 1 game per week, with no practices. All players are given equal playing time and are played locally, meaning no external travel. Teams are also permitted to participate in Tournaments. |

Advanced Hockey Streams |
Regional Based League |
This league offers a mix of Rep and House League programming. Teams will be on-ice 3x per week and feature travel for Away games. |
Select Program |
The Select Program is offered from U10 to U13 and is an add-on to House League hockey. This program offers a more advanced development experience and sees players on-ice more often than House League. Players selected for this program participate on both their House League team and the Select team. |

Rep Hockey Stream |
Rep Hockey |
Rep Hockey is the competitive level of play. Teams are selected via tryouts each year and are typically comprised of the most talented and skilled players in the age group. Rep is a much larger time commitment than other streams. Rep teams are typically on-ice 3-6 times a week. Rep teams also travel to other Rep teams for Away games. Rep Hockey has several divisions, with AAA being the highest, followed by AA, A, AE/BB and MD. |
MD |
Minor Development (MD) is the non-contact level of Rep. It is typically offered at U14, U15, U16 and U18. It is a level that falls between House League Select and AE/BB, which is the lowest level of Rep in Oakville. |
