The Oakville Rangers are proud to announce the Jr. Rangers Leadership program will be returning for the 2023-2024 season. The program is open to all U16 and U18 Rep and House League players. Complete your high school volunteer hours, gain leadership experience, and make a positive contribution to minor hockey here in Oakville!
Leaders will assist the U7, U8 and U9 Jr. Rangers Programs for the upcoming 2023/24 season (approx. 20 weeks). A minimum of 4 hours of volunteering bi-weekly is required (opportunities to pick-up more hours will be available). Duties will primarily include assisting with team practices and organizing game days (setting up bumpers, boards, music, managing the clock, etc.).
Participating and completing this program will provide:
- Certificate of Completion
- Professional Leadership Training
- Volunteer Hours to meet Ontario High School Requirements
- Eligibility to win the Academic Scholarship for this Program (1 Winner)
- Make a positive contribution to the next generation of hockey players
