Another fight to the finish ended in a 1-1 tie. A fitting score to a very well played game. Shout out to the Ice Dogs goalie, AJ, who stole the show with 2 minutes left. Everyone thought there may be another last minute loss as the opposition was relentless. But AJ made a few, tough, game saving saves in the final couple of minutes to preserve the tie.
The Ice Dogs played a sound defensive game for the entire game and were able to withstand the final barrage. The practice following the game centered around offense. This is something desperately needed by the Ice Dogs if they are going to stay with the pack (so to speak) this season.
