Team Dietrich entered this matchup against the Blizzard still smarting from a 5-1 loss the night before. They came out ready to play, scoring two goals, from Liam Murphy and Sebastian Lackey, to take a 2-0 lead in the first period.
The Blizzard were able to tie it up with two goals just over a minute apart from Andrew Palucci and Ryan Schooley.
30 seconds later Adrian Calleja gave the Black team the lead again, but with the fourth goal of the period Daniel Trembley, converting a great pass from linemate Adam Schooley, tied things at three entering the final frame.
The back and forth offensive affair settled down a little in the third, until Thomas Luc's hard shot in traffic with just under five minutes remaining gave the Blizzard the win.
