The BBs had a golden opportunity to tie, when Sebastian McClay broke in on goal, but he was interfered with and a penalty shot was called. The Wolves goalie Miles Bowen made the save, in what could have been a TSN turning point moment.
The Wolves pulled away with 3 goals in the second, opening up a 4-0 margin. Rick Schwarzkopf scored, and Alec Tang got two.
The Grey Wolves may be setting a record for third period offsides, but they had such a big lead it didn't matter much in the end.
The teams traded goals late, with both Marcelo Chama for the Wolves and Adrian Calleja scoring in the last two minutes; Calleja breaking Bowen's bid for a shutout.
