Coach Mike Thomson's Leafs only scored one goal in getting the tie on the night before. Would they need some more offense in facing the Vipers today?
Well, they got tons of offense, but again only one goal- from Noah Carson.
For most of the game, particularly in the second period, the Grey Wolves defence was non-existent. Goalkeeper Miles Bowen was the first star of the game for sure, even with his counterpart in the other net, Carter Wall earning a shutout.
Time and time again Bowen had to stop point blank shots. Leafs had multiple two on none breaks, even three on none at times.
The Wolves coach Andrew Barth explained after the game that he's trying out different players at defence, but what he tried this time didn't work. Back to the drawing board with another game on tap Monday night.
    The Leafs remain undefeated.
