This game featured only one good scoring chance in the first period, but the Vipers J.D. Shoniker hit the post.

In the second, the Vipers broke through with a goal when Jacob Kesela gathered up a head of steam streaking down the right wing and made a nice move to beat the goalie.

On the whole, the Vipers have been playing much better lately. On this day the Blizzard were just a little better.

The white shirts scored three in the final frame, the last into an empty net. Markers went to Adam Baldelli, Adam Schooley (converting a beautiful assist from Matthew Wallace) and Connor King.
