Red Bulls, the league's only undefeated team going into week eight action, were without a lot of their coaching staff for this one, including Head Coach Eric Lawson.
The Wolves had some kind of grey stuffed animal that they brought out for the warm up, but it had no effect early as the Red Bulls scored first, with Mark Liabotis getting the game's first goal.
There was a wild flurry of action around the Wolves net in the second, but Wolves goalie Miles Bowen weathered the storm and the second period ended the same as the first, with the Bulls up 1-0.
Wolves Manager Andrew Barth remarked afterward that they had the Bulls right where they wanted them.
What happened next this Convenor cannot remember seeing before - nine goals in one twelve minute period!
Unfortunately for the Red Bulls, seven were scored against them. Liabotis chipped in his second of the game for the Bulls, and Spencer Osborn scored late in what became a one-sided contest. The rest was all Grey.
Alec Tang led the way with four goals with singles coming from Rocco Commisso, Kyle Kornelson and Michael Leonard.
The seven goals in the third gave the Grey Wolves the 7-3 victory, handing the Red Bulls their first loss of the season.
