On the second shift of the game, Lucas Marley of the Red Bulls jammed home a loose puck in the crease to give his team the early lead.

Midway through the second period Marcelo Chama found himself with the puck in front of the Bulls net, spun around and passed to his line-mate Kyle Kornelson who also turned around to get a shot away. All that spinning and turning got goal-keeper Tyler Jones turned around as well and before you knew it the game was tied.

The Red Bulls struck first in the third, on a goal from Luke Mason; but the Wolves tied it up again when Rocco Commisso made a terrific pass that left Michael Leonard with an easy goal.

The game ended in a 2-2 tie.
