This game figured to be high scoring, as it featured the two top goal scorers in the league, Henry Barber for the Leafs and Alec Tang for the Grey Wolves.
During the first shift of the game Tang broke in alone, but Leafs goalie Carter Wall made a good save, signalling this would be a different game then last week when it seemed every Tang shot went in - four in total.
Midway through the first period Liam Murphy hit the crossbar, but later that same shift he scored to put the Leafs in front.
The Wolves matched it when Tang scored, but the Leafs countered with a marker from Nicholas Riviglia to end the first up 2-1.
The teams traded goals in the second, when Justin Dennis knocked in a loose puck in a goal-mouth scramble that Wall was not able to smother. Late in the period Benito Ritacco took a long shot that to the Convenor and referee appeared to go in after a Leaf player took a whack at it and missed, but later review determined that Christian Caputi had actually touched the puck and was given credit for the goal.
Entering the third Jake Barth scored to tie things up. Time and again the Wolves goalie Miles Bowen made glove saves look effortless to keep his team in the game.
Barber finally got on board with a goal to give the Leafs the lead late, but with less than two minutes remaining Tang scored his second of the game, and tenth on the season to tie things up once again.
With seconds remaining on the clock, Barber had a chance in close but Wall came up with the big stop, keeping the score tied at 4.
