Last week these two teams played each other, with the Blizzard coming out on top of a 2-1 score.

Both number 14s shone in the first period, with Andrew Palucci getting a breakaway, but he was stopped by the Grey Wolves netminder Miles Bowen; while Kyle Kornelson was able to connect for the Wolves to put his team up 1-0 entering the second period.

There was no scoring in the middle period.

Early in the final frame, the white shirts tied it up when Palucci skated away from two Wolves defenders and netted his first of two goals on the day.

Just over a minute later though, the Wolves regained the lead on a goal from Evan Romano, his first of the season.

They stretched their lead to 3-1 when the league's leading goal scoring leader, Alec Tang, connected on a breakaway. Most observers were expecting Tang's patented high wrister to the goalie's glove side, but the sniper coolly executed a nifty deke to surprise both the fans and the Blizzard goalie.

The Blizzard scored to make things interesting, Palucci's second with 15 seconds to play, and they pulled the goalie for the faceoff at center ice, but the puck went down into the Blizzard end and the game ended with a hard fought 3-2 victory for the Grey Wolves.
