Baseline testing; Status Update
"Almost
all of the players have by now taken the baseline test - if your son has not
done so or if you have not handed the printed results sheet to the training
staff, please do so immediately.
Click on "Read More" below to read the rest of the post.
Players that have not completed the test will not be permitted on the ice (practice or game).
The test itself is very important as it provides baseline measurements of the player's reaction speed, memory and simple cognitive function. The reason for the program, which is in its third year, is that in the event of a concussion the player will retake the test to make sure the brain is back to its full cognitive abilities before stepping back on the ice."
If you have any questions about the program please contact either coach Eli or our trainer, Kevin.
As parents, we all have to thank MOHA for supporting this very important initiative.
