Game October 26/2013 against the Stingrays, News, 6-Jets, MMD, 2013-2014 (Oakville Rangers Hockey Club)

Great game against the Stingrays!

The game started off well by winning the initial face off, but we took 10 minutes to have our first shot on net. Rusak looked solid stopping several threatening shots. But as we killed our 4-minute double-minor we began to build steam. First period ended with no pucks in the net for either team.

Second period saw Michael Ferrari snipe one in the top left corner while we contended with Jedryk's knee injury. We finished the second period up 1-0 and with Jedryk back on the ice.

Another great chance came as a bullet rattled off the cross bar. We got a little careless giving up a goal while scrambling in front of the net. With five minutes left in the game we were down 2 to 1 as a defenseman committed an "oopsie." Again Ferrari's line tied it up with lineman Riley Blake blazing down the sideline with Tyler Foss scoring. Excellent work team!
