Jets are back!!!
...and with vengeance by upsetting the Sabres 7 to 1!
What a game! The jets had me writing frantically. In fact, they scored so much I ran out of paper.
Truth be told the sheet of paper has gone missing. (I think it ended up on the curbside recycle bin) so I can't single out from memory all the top notch goals as there were many.
We only had two sets of defense and we were running with two centers with three key players missing. It goes to show you, if you play as a team great things will transpire.
But I must single out Matt Rusak's dazzling performance in goal. During mid-game we took a penalty allowing the Sabres to perpetrate his perfect performance.
The Jets sure rebounded from Monday night's set back with their engines revved!
