The Avalanche won gold in Montreal at the CAN/AM A/AE tournament over the weekend. Along the way, they were undefeated with results of 3-2 and 3-0 on Friday againstClarington and Albany. On Saturday, the first game was 10-0 against Burlington and then tied Bradford 2-2 which sent them to the Gold Medal game against Clarington. In the nail biting championship game that went to double OT, the Avalanche prevailed 1-0 for the win.
