Champions at Ace Bailey
October 20th to 22nd Oakville Rangers Novice AE team were in Hamilton, ON at the Ace Bailey tournament.  The competition was tough.  The boys worked hard and brought home a win!

Game 1 the boys played Oakridge Aeros.  They worked hard until the very last minute bringing the game to a tie however the other team had a superstar that scoring all goals including the winning goal for a 5-4 loss for the Rangers.

The boys did not let this stop them and later in the afternoon they played South Point and won 6-0.

One win and a loss to start day 2 and the boys were up bright and early for their 8:30 start Saturday morning to determine if they placed 2nd or 3rd for the semis.  Big eyes looking at the coaches that morning they were ready to take on Lorne Park Clarkson.  Another very close game however the boys were not able to come out with a win but a very close game at 2-3.

Now off to the semi and each and everyone of the boys focused to win.  They had a rematch against Lorne Park Clarkson.  They skated hard and won 3-1....off to the finals!

Finals Sunday at 2pm, boys were in the rink to win.  Memory of their first game against Oakridge Aeros very much alive and each one of them knew what they had to do.  There were a couple players on the other team they needed to shut down and as a team they were determined to win and shut down the Aeros.  The game was fast paced, aggressive and the Oakville Rangers pulled out a couple penalties for a very successful win.

The boys won 7-3!!!

This was the best the boys had ever played and beat an undefeated team.  Emotions were high from both the boys and the parents over their success.

Congratulations Oakville Rangers Novice AE and the coaching staff.  All the hard work paid off!
