The Oakville Rangers Minor Peewee AA-1
captured the Bowen Tri-County Championship for 2014-15 season by defeating the
Oakville Rangers AA-2 team 3 games to 1 in a best of five series. The situation was unique with an all Oakville
final and it clearly showed the quality of the hockey teams that Oakville has
produced in the 2003 cohort.
The AA-1 players showed outstanding teamwork and determination and benefited from terrific goaltending in each game. Following the final whistle both teams showed great sportsmanship and posed for a picture together in a display of Ranger pride and comradery.
The Tri-County championship topped off a successful season for the AA-1 Rangers after also capturing the International Silver Stick Championship earlier this year.
Members of the AA 1 team: Ryan Abraham, Brant Angove, Willem Blakely, Ainsley Delacourt, Michael Doherty, Law Dougan, Hunter Greenhalgh, Nicholas Howden, Aidan Hughes, Aaron Maddock, Bowen Mahoney, Samuel Ostafin, Carter Real, Dylan Sheridan, Mark Swei, Carson Wiggins and Joel Zarowny.
