The team was undefeated in the round robin stage with wins over the USA Patriots, Long Island Arrows and Burlington Eagles Gold. Our record, combined with our GAA gave us the 1st seed of the 16 teams invited to the tournament. Unfortunately, it also gave us a playoff match-up against the #23 ranked AA team in the province. After going out to a 1-0 lead, the game got away from us and ultimately turned into a 6-1 loss to the eventual champion Cambridge Hawks. Despite the loss, the boys (and parents/siblings) had a great weekend full of laughs and memories at the Best Worst Western hotel!
