Halloween - OVER
Now that the gorgefest of Halloween is over, the Phantoms regained their legs today!!  The sugar stares were gone and hockey was once again on the player's minds.  It was time to focus.

The Phantoms knew this was going to be one of the toughest tests to date.  After being balanced, having gone approximately 1/4 of the season already, and other teams having a chance to gel, the Phantoms knew the opposition was ready to come at them hard.  And that's exactly what they did.

The Phantoms responded by winning the little battles and finding the opposition's slot.  The forecheck was unrelenting as the boys knew the importance of not allowing the other team time in their own zone.  The defence was impressive as they prevented defensive end slot penetration for the entire game while their zone clearing was efficient.

This game was by far the Phantom's best played from a positional point of view and, hopefully, a sign of things to come as all of the boys found their positions and stayed in them.  They supported each other in both ends and were not caught running around.  Everyone used the speed they have to the utmost and the effort was rewarded with a shutout.
