Oakville Rangers Hockey Club
Mandatory Body Contact Clinic

All U14 Players (born in 2007) interested in trying out for any of the Minor Bantam Rep Teams must attend a Body Contact Clinic prior to the Tryout. This does not apply to goalies.

All U14 Players (born in 2007), as well as any U15 Players (born in 2006) and older who played in House League or MD last season are required to attend a Body Contact Clinic before attending an Oakville Rangers Tryout. You will not be allowed to try out if you have not completed a clinic. Goalies do not have to attend these clinics.

The ORHC Body Contact Clinics are included with your Tryout Registration fee, but you must be registered for the Tryouts to participate. Clinic sizes are restricted and will fill up quickly. Please be sure to register early to ensure you get the date and time you want.

It is not mandatory that you attend an Oakville Body Contact Clinic - only that you attend one. Many players attend Pre-Tryout Camps, many of which include a Body Contact Clinic. If you have completed a Body Contact Clinic elsewhere please simply let the ORHC Office know and we will update your application to reflect that the requirement has been met.

As space is limited, we would ask that you only attend the Body Contact Clinic if you need to. If you have already completed a Clinic elsewhere, please do not attend the Oakville Clinic as well "just to get some extra ice". We appreciate you want to get on the ice as much as you can - we do too! But in doing so, you may be taking a spot away from someone who actually needs the Clinic and will now be scrambling to find somewhere else they can take it. We appreciate your understanding.

Please note that the Minor Development (MD) Division is non-contact. If you are only trying out for MD and not AE or higher you are not required to attend a Body Contact Clinic.

If you played on a 2019/20 ORHC Peewee Rep Rangers team or the 2019/19 ORHC Peewee Select team you do not need to attend one of these clinics. The league is scheduling a separate clinic for your entire team on INSERT DATE(S). More information on that will be provided to your team soon. .
