MB AA RED Rangers win GOLD!!!
The Oakville Rangers Minor Bantam AA Red win GOLD on November 24 in Lincoln Ontario at the Doug Robinson All Star Challenge!
After an initial win over the TNT Tornados 10 to 0, the second game against the Guelph Gryphons was challenging and the team experienced their 3rd loss of the season losing 0 to 3.
The team needed to win their final game on Saturday to advance to the Semi Finals on Sunday and a 3 to 2 win over the strong Aurora Tigers moved them forward and eliminated the Gryphons in their pool.
The Semi finals pitted the Rangers against the tournament host West Niagra Flying Aces! A 3 to 1 win moved the Rangers to the final game of the tournament against the Rochester Americans.
The Americans rose through their pool allowing only 3 goals in their 4 games. After a strong battle by each team, the Rangers were able to stop the Rochester team from scoring and put 3 goals on the board to win the tournament!
