Charity Champion - Bantam AA Blue
Submitted By Cassy Goulart on Monday, October 7, 2019
The Bantam AA Blue team went to The Darling Home for Kids on Saturday Oct. 5th.

The Darling Home for Kids provides high quality respite and palliative care services for children who are medically fragile and technology dependent, many of whom suffer from progressive illness.

The Rangers spent 3 hours doing various outdoor chores around the home. Everything from cleaning all the exterior windows, shoveling & placing gravel for areas that had sunken in on the property, clearing out all the vegetable gardens around the property, sweeping and clearing cob webs, clearing all their walking trails of sticks and branches so wheelchairs and walkers could have full access.

The children that were presently at the home loved to see all the boys working and having fun around the property. They tell us it would have been the highlight of their day.

Darling Home for Kids staff were very impressed at the maturity level of the boys, their amazing effort and hard work and their ability to follow instructions.

The Rangers and the parents that attended left the home feeling very blessed for what we all have.
