2021 BarDown Rangers 3-on-3 Season Cancelled
Submitted By Nathan McAnsh on Wednesday, June 2, 2021

On Friday, May 21, 2021 Premier Ford announced details of the Province’s three-step reopening plan. We’re very optimistic about the plans presented and excited to see the light at the end of the tunnel!

Unfortunately, indoor league play will not be reintroduced until Stage 3 of the plan. This means it would be late July before a 3-on-3 hockey league could even be in a position to potentially operate. As such, the Oakville Rangers Hockey Club, in partnership with BarDown Hockey and the Town of Oakville, have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2021 BarDown Rangers 3-on-3 season.

If changes occur to the Provincial Guidelines which could permit for indoor league play at an earlier time, options to run a mini league or tournament for the summer of 2021 will be explored.

We remain optimistic and are currently working on developing programming for the 2021/22 season. We look forward to sharing this information soon.
