TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS: Bradford Atom Select Division
Our goal for the weekend was set for us to come together as a team, early in our season. We absolutely achieved that goal, as the boys wore their Red Rebels gear and built friendships and bonds off the ice.
Not only did our players have the opportunity to get to know each other, but they (and we as parents) had the good fortune to spend lots of time with the Oakville Stars team, who joined us to represent MOHA at the tournament. A big thanks to Coach Mark Ellis for allowing the Red Rebels to piggy-back on the party room at the hotel and for the fun & excitement off the ice!
Here's the bonus........we went undefeated, scoring 26 goals and only allowing 6 against in 5 games! Congratulations to our tenacious forwards, responsible/smart defensemen and to our consistent & quick goaltender
Our thrilling 3-2 final victory over Leaside Select will undoubtedly help us build momentum!
A big thanks to the coaches, our manager and the parents for making this weekend memorable for all of us!
