Registration for the 2021-2022 Hockey Season is being taken via manual registration form. Our goal is to find a place for every kid that wants to play, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Please note that in some cases we may not have room in the program that you have requested and may have to offer an alternative option for participation. Please fill out the 2021-2022 Player Registration Form and email it to [email protected]. Someone from the Rangers will follow up with you as soon as possible.

In the past couple of weeks we have seen some positive direction from the Government of Ontario with respect to the Province re-opening and Return to Play plans for both indoor and outdoor sports. On May 20, 2021, the Government of Ontario introduced a three-step Roadmap to Reopen plan. Within this plan, it is projected that indoor sport leagues will be able to resume in Stage 3 with restrictions. While there are currently no specifics provided around the restrictions, we are anticipating facility capacity and league size restrictions similar to what we saw this past season.
This has understandably lead to many (many) emails and phone calls from our Membership wondering what is going to happen with ORHC programming for the upcoming 2021/22 season and when we will be able to get back on the ice. These are very good questions! While it is impossible to give a definitive answer on how the 2021/22 season is going to look at this point in time, we can say that the ORHC is committed to maintaining its operations and providing programming for the 2021/22 season.
We are optimistically forming programming structures which are based on traditional hockey play and format. However, these models are also being structured so that they can be easily interchangeable between traditional game play models and programming models which focus on amplified skill development and fewer players on the ice. This will be necessary if we are still operating with Covid-19 restrictions or parameters in the 2021/22 season.
2021/22 Player Registration
The Hockey Canada Registry is currently undergoing a system overhaul which began in April 2021. It is currently being projected that the new Hockey Canada registry will be able to start accepting registrations in mid to late July. We are all anxious to get our hockey season registrations up and running and will send out information on registering for the Rangers 2021/22 season as soon as it is available.

Don’t wait to register! Space is limited and it is common for Divisions to fill up quickly. Your registration is not complete until payment in full has been received and the Respect In Sport online course has been completed (for those parents required). If your Division is full there are instructions below for getting added to the waitlist.
New!! House League Goalies Will Receive A $200 Discount!!
As part of the Oakville Rangers ongoing commitment to growing and developing our goalies, we recognize that one of the toughest barriers for goalie parents today are the added costs for being a goalie. To help offset this, the ORHC is proud to offer a $200 registration to discount to all of our House League Goalies!
If you know for sure you will be playing on a Rep team, you should register for Rep. Otherwise, register for House League. For example, if you played AAA last season – even if you don’t make the AAA team this year, it is pretty safe to say you will make a Rep team and should register for Rep. Whereas, if you played House League last season, even if you think you have a really good shot at making a Rep team this season you should still register for House League.
If in doubt, register for House League. Any players with a House League registration that make a Rep team will have their registrations manually updated to reflect and being registered for House League does not impact your Tryout in any way. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL AFTER TRYOUTS TO REGISTER! If you wait your Division may be full by the time you try to register!
